This is a fascinating video for anyone interested (even vaguely) in information security – not just the technological aspects, but the sociological and demographic implications. I came across it at Tom MacWright’s blog, and he rightly praises Bruce Schneier’s superb clarity in portraying just the right amount of information on a subject which, clearly, he could address in intimate detail.

I particularly like Bruce’s quote at 3:50 in the video…

“The younger generation always wins… because the older generation dies.”

I think, having recently reached 42 (the meaning of life, after all), I’m finally starting to accept this.
